Hi Groovy Riders,
Breaking with the traditional “No Stop” strategy-tomorrow I intend to ride to the 1809(Kelly Holmes gig) cafe in Hildenborough. Riding out as a focused group concentrating on group riding and drills accordingly. As the wind should be with us or slightly oblique, it would be a good test to ride strong, keep momentum and not stop. On reaching the cafe, have a drink and a snack, then return at a more leisurely fractured group riding pace. If you are coming with me, please indicate thus, as I may have to book a few chairs at the cafe.
28-30 miles (14-15 each way) a flat venture with only slight rises and no hills, with a break half way. Limpsfield-itchy circuit-dairy lane-Pootings(B269)-4 Elms-Bough Beach(B2027)-Camps Hill-Charcott-over the A21-Sackville School-B245 into Hildenborogh. Reverse route back…give or take?
bring a warm gilet or such like for stops, full water bottles, air in your tyres 100psi, driver friendly illuminating clothing.
nice one.
Bob
