The Rapha Women’s 100km ‘elephant’ ride

Our very popular Cass Humm designed this route for the Rapha Women’s 100 in 2014, an annual global event where women around the world ride any 100km/62 mile route they choose to qualify for a badge via Strava. The ‘elephant’ tag is because of what the route looks like on a map and certainly NOT the ladies who ride it! This route goes through some of the most beautiful Kent scenery imaginable, there are many miles of dreamy, quiet lanes and very little traffic…just occasional glimpses of modern civilisation. A tea stop at the garden centre in Hadlow is optional and men are occasionally allowed to ride it. It is also not too hilly, quite a few people have done it in less than four hours.
